What data do we process and why?
Contact and information requests
When you fill in a form on our website, email or call us, we process the data you provide, such as your name, company name, email address, phone number, address and your question. We use this data to answer your question, send you the requested information and, if you wish, prepare a quotation. We do this on the basis of our legitimate interest in responding to your request, or because it is necessary to enter into an agreement.
Orders and business relationships
When you place an order with us or are a customer or supplier, we process the data needed to perform the agreement, such as contact, delivery and invoice details. This is necessary to perform the agreement and to comply with our legal (tax) obligations.
Newsletter
[Only if Prokol sends a newsletter:] If you subscribe to our newsletter, we use your email address to send it to you, based on your consent. You can unsubscribe at any time via the link in every newsletter.
Website visits and cookies
Our website uses cookies. Necessary cookies make the website work and remember your cookie choice. With your consent, we also use cookies for statistics (Google Analytics, via Google Tag Manager) to see how the website is used, and for marketing to measure advertising and campaigns. We do not place these cookies without your consent. You can change your choice at any time via “Cookie settings” at the bottom of the website.
How long do we keep your data?
We do not keep your data longer than necessary for the purpose for which it was collected. Data from contact and information requests is kept for up to [2 years] after the last contact. Data required for our accounts is kept for 7 years, as required by law. Statistical data is kept by Google for [14 months].
Who do we share your data with?
We never sell your data. We only share it with parties that help us provide our services, such as our web developer and hosting provider (Provisual), the network that makes the website load quickly (bunny.net, European Union) and Google (Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager, only with your consent). We make agreements with these parties about the security and confidentiality of your data. Google may process data outside the European Union; Google is covered by the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
Security
We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data against loss and unlawful use. The website uses a secure connection (https).
Your rights
You have the right to access, correct or delete your data, and to object to or request restriction of the processing. You can also ask us to transfer your data. If you have given consent, you can withdraw it at any time. Send your request to info@prokol.nl; we will respond within four weeks.
If you disagree with how we handle your data, please contact us first. You can also file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl).
